BUSINESS VALUATIONS
Whether you are selling
your business, divesting a division of your business or
expanding by acquisition or merger, you need to have an
estimate of the fair market value of the business entity.
We estimate the fair market value using one of two
approaches: |

 Utilizing
a software package that is designed to estimate fair market
value by combining estimates from up to five different
recognized methods, for smaller businesses or for clients
looking for an inexpensive approach, and
Selecting,
based on the specific business entity, three methods,
including market comparables and weighting them based on the
evaluators experience to estimate the fair market value, for
larger businesses or clients that require a more thorough
analysis.
Depending on the nature, purpose and complexity of valuation
assignment or engagement, our fees will range from “no cost to
the client” to $10,000, with typical fees in the range of
$1,500 to $5,000. In some situations we may utilize a third
party firm to perform the business price evaluation.
